Our company officially announced the relocation to a new office building in June 2023. After a rather hectic undertaking, all employees have settled in and have been working at the new location since June 1.
For today’s article, we would like to provide a sneak peek into the new office building, as well as share information regarding the relocation party that was held on the day of the move!
■ Office Building Exterior
First, a glimpse at the building’s exterior.
Our new office is located in Tokyo’s Minato Ward. It’s so tall that looking up at it from below will be a pain in the neck – literally.
With so many teams now occupying a single floor, our currently stationed employee count is around 450. Communication within the office feels like it has become even more active than ever before.
Not only is the scale of the company changing, but many other aspects are evolving as well, so our new office building provides a sense of rejuvenation to help fuel our mission toward creating even more entertaining content.
■ Visitor Reception Entrance
This is the office’s visitor reception entrance.
To the right, a monitor continuously displays promotional material and music videos, and life-size figures of Usada Pekora and Gawr Gura stand tall and proud.
In the center of the room, the equally large COVER Corp. logo can be seen, as in our previous office.
■ Relaxation Space
The relaxation space, yet another heirloom from our previous location, has been upgraded!
Lunch with coworkers, breaks on a sofa, simply enjoying the view – anything goes here!
Twice as large as our previous relaxation space, this new area seems ideal for hosting company events.
■ Relocation Party
On June 1, COVER Corp. held a relocation party to celebrate the move!
Tanigo thanked the employees for their hard work, encouraging everyone to continue doing their best in the new office, and the party began with a round of applause.
After a toast and some light snacks, it was then time to cut the cake.
Can you believe it? Cake.jp sent us a celebratory cake to commemorate our office relocation!
This isn’t the first time, however – Tanigo has also received a cake from them in the past for a birthday. Thank you so much, Cake.jp!
■ Cutting the Cake!
Didn’t we see Tanigo’s “center slice” technique, a cleave straight down the middle of the cake, six months ago? The employees couldn’t get enough of both him and the cake, with the latter disappearing in no time!
As we continue to form new friendships and take on more challenges, obstacles may arise on our path forward. That is why I was so thrilled that everyone could gather together and communicate face-to-face at this relocation party.
2023 will be halfway over before we know it, but I know that all of our employees will press forward with our mission to provide more entertaining content as we journey into the future.
As always, thank you so much for your continued support.
