[Event Report]hololive production is Hosting a Reception-Themed Official Touring Exhibition

2026 marks the 9th anniversary of hololive production and the 10th year of COVER Corporation, so to express our gratitude to all of our incredible fans in celebration of this milestone, COVER is hosting the official nationwide touring exhibition “hololive Grand Reception ~An Invitation Filled with Gratitude~” that brings all hololive talents together in the one place. COVERedge is excited to share a report from the media-exclusive preview held at the Tokyo venue before the event began, along with highlights from the opening day.

In the main entrance of TOKYO DREAM PARK in Ariake, Tokyo, guests of “hololive Grand Reception ~An Invitation Filled with Gratitude~” are treated to one of Japan’s largest transparent LED displays showcasing the exhibition title and key visuals, which is sure to build excitement before guests are even inside!

After taking the escalator or elevator up to the 7th-floor exhibition, we headed to the reception desk, where we received information about the audio guide service. You can choose one of five groups as your guide, but be sure to bring your own headphones, as the audio is available right from your smartphone.

WELCOME AREA: It’s finally time to enter!

Once your audio guide is all sorted, it is finally time to enter! This exhibition is designed to welcome visitors as if they are “guests at a special party.” The WELCOME AREA at the entrance is gorgeously decorated like a foyer of a western-style mansion, making it a perfect place to take some stunning photos. Our anticipation continued to grow for the ensuing party as we listened to music by hololive talents playing in the background.

WELCOME AREA: Get ready for a special party…!

OPENING THEATER: Talents in their finest attire are here to welcome you!

As we moved on to the next part of the exhibition, OPENING THEATER, dressed-up talents appeared one after another to greet us with a welcoming message. Featured talents change every Saturday, so look forward to seeing who will greet you when you come to visit!
*Please refer to the event’s official website (available in Japanese only)for the talent appearance schedule.

hololive PARTY TIME: All 63 hololive talents were on display

hololive PARTY TIME, one of the main areas, was our next stop, where life-sized panels featuring standing illustrations of all 63 hololive talents were on display. Seeing all of the talents lined up was a truly breathtaking sight, and the shadows cast by the lights shining down on the die-cut panels gave them an amazing sense of realism! When I stood in front of a talent who was my height, I felt as if they were looking right at me. Next to each panel was a series of nine questions and answers that revealed unexpected sides of each talent, along with “manuals” written by their manager. Time flew by as we carefully read each talent’s answers and took pictures.

The hololive PARTY TIME area from the opening day―everyone can enjoy the exhibition in their own way and take it in at their own pace.

hololive HISTORY: A Look Back at hololive’s History

Beyond hololive PARTY TIME was the hololive HISTORY area, showcasing the timeline and history of hololive and allowing us to look back on its nine-year journey so far. This area gives fans the opportunity not only to look back and reminisce, but also to become a part of that history through an interactive exhibit. Guests can write messages and thoughts on sticky notes and attach them to specific sections of the timeline, such as the year and month they became a fan or a live performance they attended. It will be fun to watch the timeline become increasingly covered in sticky notes brimming with fans’ passion as the exhibition rolls on.

The hololive HISTORY area from opening day―since you are also an invaluable part of hololive history, we hope you will leave your mark by adding your own sticky note.

Across from the timeline stood a display featuring three stunning live performance outfits: real-life recreations of Tokino Sora’s Origin Outfit from hololive 1st fes. Nonstop Story in 2020, her Bright Outfit from hololive 4th fes. Our Bright Parade in 2023, and her Color Rise Outfit from hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony in 2025. Up close, we could see the differences in the materials used for each outfit and the fullness of each skirt. They looked absolutely gorgeous, bringing back the excitement from those live performances and making us really feel the journey hololive has taken over the years!

The DRESSING ROOM features physical outfits faithfully recreated from those worn during production-wide live performances.

IF STORY: Check out the survey results and autographs!

The IF STORY area next to the timeline showcased the responses to the special survey fans answered. Find out the most popular answers to the questions asked by the talents themselves, such as “What if you did ____ with ____?” The talents featured in this exhibit will change between the first and second halves of the event, so be sure to check when your oshi’s questions will be on display!
*Please refer to the official website for further details at https://hololive-grandreception.hololivepro.com/contents/ (available in Japanese only).

Opposite IF STORY stood boards featuring handwritten messages and autographs from the talents―it was easy to spend time taking a closer look, feeling the warmth of their handwriting.

Guest Lounge: A Place Where Talents’ Personalities Shine

During the first half of the event, the GUEST LOUNGE features “welcome drinks” created by talents for their guests. On display are the recipes, formulated by talents themselves, and replicas of the cocktails based on these recipes. From drinks reflecting a talent’s signature colors to stronger cocktails, each one is packed with the talents’ favorite ingredients and bursting with their unique personalities, with some letting the ingredients speak for themselves maybe a little too much. No matter how many times you look around, you are sure to discover something new.The exhibition content changes between the first and second halves, so don’t miss it!

SEE OUT hololive: The party is winding down! where the talent sees you off

The party is now nearing its end, but not before visiting the SECRET GARDEN, a photo spot where guests can take commemorative photos with all the talents. Seeing life-sized talents dressed in such colorful outfits together was absolutely amazing, with each talent looking so cute that we simply could not take our eyes off them. We hope you enjoy the overflowing sense of unity that this penultimate area exudes.

This brings us to SEE OUT hololive, where talents appear one after another to express their appreciation to each and every fan by waving and posing for them. While seeing the talents back in their regular outfits was sad, as it meant this special party was coming to an end, it also increased our anticipation levels for how they would entertain us in their daily streams.

In SEE OUT hololive, talents appear one by one to bid us farewell.

On the way out, guests can purchase original merchandise featuring the talents in their party outfits created exclusively for this exhibition at the hololive SPECIAL STORE.

Try out “hololive Sign Simulation” too!

This event also offers an attraction outside the main venue, hololive Sign Simulation,* where visitors can experience a simulated autograph session with a talent.

Booths are on the 3rd floor, separate from the main exhibition on the 7th floor, where guests check in at the reception desk. We then chose the talent we wanted an autograph from, entered the designated booth, and she was there waiting for us right before our eyes! She autographed a portrait photograph right in front of me and spoke gently as she signed, which made my heart race. This attraction offers a special experience unique to hololive Grand Reception, making us feel as if we attended a real autograph session and leaving us with an autographed portrait photograph as a souvenir.
*hololive Sign Simulation offers a simulated experience for visitors where talents sign an autograph through on-screen visuals. Conversations with the talents are not possible at this attraction.
*To experience hololive Sign Simulation, a separate “hololive Sign Simulation ticket” is required. Please refer to the official website for further details at https://hololive-grandreception.hololivepro.com/ticket/#info06(available in Japanese only).

The opening day following the preview was a huge success, drawing big crowds from the moment it started! Visitors took their time, enjoying each exhibit throughout the venue.

A long line of people were waiting eagerly outside the venue before the gates had even opened!

“hololive Grand Reception ~An Invitation Filled with Gratitude~” will tour four cities, starting in Tokyo, then followed by Osaka, Nagoya, and lastly Fukuoka, through spring 2027. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you at this special party!
